Look at the situation
Ofcom’s ordinary single-number process uses PAC to 65075 when the number is to be retained. STAC to 75075 is for a move without retaining it; INFO to 85075 requests switching information. Multi-line or business service can require another process.
Read the conditions
Read the reply, code validity and any early-exit information. Follow the receiving provider’s submission procedure. Do not separately cancel a line you intend to port before the correct sequence is confirmed.
Choose the next question
After the move, test calls and texts and update important verification accounts if needed. Check device obligations and the final statement independently. A number transfer concerns airtime rather than every linked service.
